Started by young immigrants, built by community

VCA Impact Foundation began as a group of young immigrants settling in Canada. Weekly runs created a tight-knit support network that now welcomes newcomers every week.

Charitable purposes

What we exist to do

As set out in our Articles of Amendment under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act.

  1. To promote and improve public health by encouraging and facilitating physical fitness through the provision of fitness programs and opportunities.
  2. To benefit the community by awarding grants that support youth-led projects and activities related to education, healthcare and urban development.
  3. To advance education by providing training and workshops on project development and leadership to youth.
  4. To facilitate the settlement and integration of newcomers to Canada by providing settlement services, such as employment readiness training, guidance on navigating Canada’s healthcare system, transit, community resources, and peer-led mentorship.
  5. To undertake activities ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the above charitable purposes.
